Puffin

I visited Skomer Island in Wales in 2024 and was very lucky to experience the sights and sounds of puffins which return to the island year on year to breed. Before my visit, I spent time researching these incredible birds, hosted a live drawing session featuring photos of puffins, and watched the activity of the islands wildlife on the Wildlife Trust nature cameras. This painting was done in my sketchbook using inks, watercolours and coloured pencils.
