Crow & Fallen Oak

I often take walks through my local countryside, and I’m regularly inspired by the things I notice along the way. One winter’s day, I wandered around the edge of a farmer’s field to get a closer look at a fallen oak tree. Its silhouette had a striking, sculptural quality, made all the more dramatic by the sudden sweep of a crow in flight, its dark form cutting across the soft grey of the winter sky.
