Swift

These incredible birds make a visit to my street every summer from their native Africa, to create nests in the eaves of the victorian terrace houses and brood their young, before making the long journey back home. For me, their arrival heralds the beginning of summer and love spending warm evenings in my garden, watching them dart and dash across the skies.
